(More customer reviews)This is barely a decorative piece. It is not a good alarm clock. You would have to be an incredibly light sleeper to be woken up by this alarm clock. It is not loud and doesn't have any volume control. The thing can be put together in about 43 seconds so it's not a challenge in the least to build and the alarm setting is only an estimate. It's one of those alarm bars that is like the minute hand so you can approximate a 7:15am alarm ring but it might be 7:19am or 7:11am when it rings; maybe even further off if you don't have good aim. And again, the alarm is not loud at all. You might be able to go sleep by it rather than have it wake you up. I would not have purchased this if I had known the quality of the product but my son, whose Christmas gift it was, likes having a Lego Soccer clock so I won't return it. But this is as overpriced as an alarm clock can be.
