(More customer reviews)My mom had 4 boys, and this cake pan got USED! Recently, I was cleaning out my mom's house and found this cake pan along with the original cardboard picture, the two superhero faces, and the two superhero crests. This cake pan is a year older than me and still delivering!
The plastic faces and crest have faded slightly over time (mostly superman's skin tone), but have held up well over the years. As long as you can match the icing color to the plastic colors the cake as a whole looks fine. The pan has held up perfectly - no rust, no dents. Nice job Wilton!
It's unfortunate that the seller mentioned by the previous reviewer didn't provide the plastic pieces. These are essential!! Still, it shouldn't reflect poorly on the product, just on the seller. The face detail on the pan just doesn't give you enough to work with, and good luck trying to replicate the superhero crests. It can be done, but with much additional time and effort.
