Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff Soccer Ball Review

(More customer reviews)First Impression: Well the people over at Planet Dog heard about my website and decided I should test some of their toys. Puppy `o puppy am I glad they did! I saw this on their website about two months ago and I've been wanting to try it ever since. Dad says that the Orbee toys are made of an injection molded "thermo plastic elastomer." Whatever... Basically the ball is strong, hollow, and has holes at both ends. This toy has a hole about 1 inch in diameter at one end, so you could put some dog treats inside, the other hole is much smaller about 3/8 of an inch. They are very flexible - I can easily crush the ball, but it just pops back out to it's normal shape. All of the Orbee toys they sent me have a strong peppermint smell. I personally really like it; I was licking the ball at first... Of course they are bouncy, and apparently they also float! Dad also mentioned that when it's hot during the summer we can freeze them to help keep me cool..
Conclusion: I've managed to pull a small piece loose near the large opening on the ball. The white part of the soccer ball is peeling away from the interior layer. I don't think it's going to be a huge problem, but I'll keep everyone posted if I manage to destroy it!
Followup: I managed to tear the loose piece off and swallow it before Dad could stop me. It was close though... I've also managed to get some more loose. Dad is debating about gluing that part down, or possibly cutting it back. I'll update you if I can keep tearing pieces off!

Also, the poses they are in are different. There is no one diving for a goal, for example, which looked neat on the picture on the website. My son says "this item did not impress me." This was for his birthday cake so it is disappointing that we did not receive the identical set to what is pictured. Set did arrive promptly though with Prime shipping.

Wilton Soccer Ball Pan Review

(More customer reviews)I used this pan to make a basketball cake for my son's birthday party last year. It took a lot longer to bake than I expected (nearly an hour), but my yellow cake mix ended up having the texture of a fluffy pound cake. It tasted and "felt" very professional because of the texture. It came out of the pan perfectly, and the large lip on one side of the pan made it very easy to get it out of the oven. The cake was nice and large, yielding at least 15 servings if not more.
While the pan itself has markings for a soccer ball, the instructors include designs for a basketball and baseball (a soccer ball is harder, so the marking for that make it much easier to do). It was very easy to make it a basketball, and kids and parents alike were very impressed with the results.
This pan could be used to make anything that would be a half dome, like a planet, the moon, a disco ball, beach ball, etc. If you were crazy enough, you could make two batches and put them together with popsicle sticks to make a giant ball. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this pan!

Rene Pierre Champion Foosball Table Review

This allowed much better catching and control of the ball. This table is a lot of fun, and sounds great when you make a hard goal, but I just don't think we'll be able to replace the original Renee Pierre tables.

It arrived about a month ago, and looked like it was very well packaged, and it has sat untouched waiting for my husband's birthday to roll around. When I gave it to him today, we opened it up, to find two huge cracks in the "field" (if i could upload photos I would), and whilst I realise that this could have been a shipping accident, I feel that the cheap construction and poor fabrication would not have held up to any enthusiastic use anyway. My husband's birthday is ruined and I feel totally ripped off and mislead.
Not at all as described, poor quality - look elsewhere for a Foosball table

All the folks I`ve had over to play foosball really like the curved "backsplash". It comes with blocking plates that convert it into a regular foosball table if your not up for the fast pace curve effect. The detail about the players colors may be unclear but the picture shows the true representation which is the classic chess player black and ivory. All in all a great foosball table that I would buy again.
