(More customer reviews)A while back when championship challenge I (3409) came out I was mildly interested. I didn't really plan on buying it, especially when I read reviews saying it had durability issues. Then when Challenge II (3420) came out, I was certain they had to have fixed whatever problems there were. . .I was right! It was fun to build and pretty sturdy. Of course, you can't really build it on a carpeted floor but you can build it on a coffee table and that is also a great place to play with it. There are 6 players for each team, red vs. blue. I had thought that the gameplay would be slow but I was wrong: my sister and I played game after game. Then we decided to change the player minifigs with ones we had from other sets. We created a Harry Potter vs. Star Wars game and that was fun as well. That has to be one of my favourite things about this set and all legos: its so easy to modify and add and change. The only downside is that the goalie is a little hard to control but that is an equal handicap for both "teams." One thing I would recommend is to pick up the Women's team set for a fun Boys vs. Girls game and also the Fan's Grandstand. The price is a little high for those people who have already purchased 3409 but I still recommend it. My favourite feature is the sliding players (something not present in the first version of this set). I have always wanted a foosball table and as I do not have the space (or the capital) this is a great substitution. Buy it, Build it, and find yourself shouting, "GOOOAAAAAALLLL!" Highly recommended. :)
